Beach Baby's works with independent contractors and provides extensive support and direction.
We are particularly seeking DONA certified doulas, Postpartum Doulas and Nanny's comfortable working with babies and small children.
However, if you have experience working with children and a desire to work as a nanny,
we have ongoing weekly trainings to increase your skills and confidence so that you feel confident in that position.
For aspiring doulas, we can place you in one of our childbirth classes to learn more about the birth process along with our couples, and also offer additional training.
In order to practice with us, you will need to be certified by DONA or CAPPA or another reputable agency, and have completed three supervised births.
However, you may begin your training with us anytime, and attend the DONA training when you feel ready. Doula coordinator, Pat Burrel,
will be available to attend your first three births for licensing with you.

We are also offering a specialized training in waterbirth, with expert Barbara Harper, RN.
Doulas and nannys in training help to promote our business by helping us with special events, filing,
and updating written resources, according to their time and ability.
